The Blue Balloon is a simple story about how a little boy manages his loss of a blue balloon by sympathizing with its desire to be free.
Educational Features:

With this goal, the second part of the book displays both pinyin and key vocabularies for reader reference and in-depth learning. The colorful illustrations enhance the story and enable it to be read as a picture book in many different languages.

About the Author:
Writer Jamie Chiahui Gao is a well-traveled, award winning artist and writer in multidisciplinary mediums. Her art works have been exhibited and collected worldwide. Gao also worked as a reporter and columnist for Chinese newspapers and magazines when resided in New York City. Currently Gao teaches at a Chinese Immersion School in San Francisco. Her project works with 3.5-5 years old children have been presented in the college and Early Childhood Education communities under California Fist Five Organization. During her free time, Gao leads popular Parents& Me Mandarin Learning Playground in the Bay Area and devoted to design creative and effective Mandarin learning curriculum for students from preschool to high school.
